Where it all began .... by Moonbeam & Sunshine

I met a nice gentleman who wanted to be friends
and it didn't take much persuasion
because I sensed something special in him...

...he bid me...'be with me a while...
a helping hand I'll lend you...
with love I will befriend you'...

I was a little cautious for a while...
but then he started to walk with me...
the extra miles...

...He sensed her worth, his soul confirmed...
he gently moved...a little forward...
His heart informed him...'stay with her'...
'She's in need of you...and you need her'...

So they walked together...
he stayed with her as her broken heart
was healing during Christmas...
His presence strengthened her heart
and made her smile again...

He felt her pain...he know,in part...
the hardship of a broken heart...
throughout this time...the Lord was there...
the two of them, told of their care...

as the days went by...she started to have doubts...
can she really trust him?
because her heart was broken
by someone she thought loved her...

yet this broken heart, was shared by him...
for he'd know the same...and understood
how precious his soul friend has been...
how sad he feels...to know her pain...

Then slowly she began to put down her guard...
as she realizes he cared for her in such a genuine way
her heart started to heal as day by day
he stood by her side...to assure her that he is so near


In this way, day by day...he knows...
that he holds her dearer...from strength to strength...
we walk...until we're walking the extra miles...

together for each other...
then our pain began to find healing in each other
I began to feel the depths of the pain of his broken heart
...with all my heart I want to hold him
and tell him I will always be there...
for him and with him...

And at just the same time...he knows and trusts...
that they find their healing through one another
she teaches him so much about giving himself...
and confirms that her thoughts echo his, at this time...

he would open his arms to her...were they big enough...
to stretch through the continents...
to give her his love...
but he trusts it will be just a matter of time


So this nice gentleman now has captivated her heart...
and with her whole heart she trust what God is doing...
unfolding her love story she had long imagined...
that it is a great possibility ...
though they have not really met yet...

and he finds himself part of a huge mystery...
as the two of them write of this love they know...
He trusts, too in God, who has brought them this far...

And his heart waits in wonder...day by day...
the love grows stronger...
and he senses the wonder of the lady he loves...
each day he knows something new...
as they write...

and she becomes more at ease with him...
as she sees his devotion to 'them'...
her heart blooms with greater admiration
for him as she sees his true manliness
that accepts her for who she is...

knowing life's burden have taken the toll on them both...
they approach each other...
in the knowledge that they are both accepted in the Lord
in this way...he loves her more deeply...
for the wounds she has bear...

with all her heart she longs for the day...
when their hearts will at last beat as one
...as two soul friends who has unexpectedly found the other
and he reaches instinctively for that day...
his arms outstretched as his heart, says YaY!!!!
