This Christmas...(Runa original)

This Christmas my broken heart
found its healing in the Love
that has always been faithful from the start
the Love that surpasses all other loves

Every other friendships and relationships
will come and go with the tides of change
but is it this pure Love that remains the same
Stronger than any friendships or relationships

Unchanging, never diminishing
always steady and secure
providing, forgiving and embracing
healing and making whole

This Christmas I'm reminded again
That my place is forever in His heart
In this truth I choose to remain

And in the course of time
No matter how many times this fragile heart
will be broken by imperfect human relationships
I will choose to always love and embrace
from the depths of this perfect Love
that has loved me perfectly

This Christmas once again
I've written the Lover of my soul's name
on the depths of my heart and affections
and His name is Jesus...

That Friday...by Andrew Graham Field

On a sky torn..temple curtain torn in two,
Kind of Friday..
When sorrow seemed to reign..
You paid a particular kind of price..
Lord!

and though I've wrestled with my actions,
and also with my distractions..
..the agony of that day,
the cross you had to bear...
lead us safely two days on..
where your Sunday banished despair!

For death couldn't hold Gods son in the tomb,
He with blameless, spotless life!...
became our guilt,took our sin..
So we might have new life.

The significance and love in this amazing event..
Can overwhelm, or confuse...
But what it now meant...
Is as Jesus rose on the third day..
We Can be with him at the last..
For yes he's the life the truth and the way,
we can learn some good from the past!

Oh Lord....by Andrew Graham Field

Oh Lord, I can't go on,
Everythings gone wrong.
and I cry, as I'm frowning..
it feels like I'm drowning,
Oh Lord, I can't go on.

My Child..I go on..
Though your burden seems unbearably long,
While you cry, in your youth..
I repeat, yet this truth..
'My child, I go on.'

Oh Lord, I cannot love!,
You seem so far above,
and I'm tired of the yearning,
While the world keeps on turning.!
Oh Lord, I cannot Love.

My Child..I am called 'Love',
Unconditional Love!..
While you tire and despair,
I'll always be here,
My Child, I am called 'Love.'

Oh Lord, where is the light?..
Is it really worth the fight?,
As today I feel older,
The world now seems colder.
Oh Lord, where is the light?

My Child, trust in me for tonight,
and into the new Dawns' daylight,
My Forgiveness I'm sending..
Your broken life I'm mending,
My Child trust in me for tonight.
